The site is mostly in English, except some teaching stuff dedicated to the students for whom I have pleasure to be the guide in the mysterious world of physics and mathematics ;)

Yes! It's me!

Who am I?

I am a Ph. D. student at Physics Departement of Warsaw University. I was born in 1979 in Częstochowa, a quarter-million city in southern Poland. I live permanently in Warsaw.

What do I do?

I am a graduate theoretical physics student. My main field of study and research is General Relativity (i. e. Einstein's theory of gravitation and spacetime), but I am also interested in other branches of Physics and Science in general. If you're interested, you can have a look at my (rather short) list of publications...

As a graduate I am responsible for teaching a group of undergraduates mathematics and physics. Information about my maths classes (in Polish) can be found here...

What else do I do in my life?

A list of my personal inerests and hobbies:

  • reading
  • classical music (just listening and enjoying, you wouldn't like to hear me performing ;-)
  • sailing
  • Go (Chinese Wei'Qi, Korean Baduk): a complex, sophisticated game based on few simple rules (features which make the essence of mathematical beauty)
  • Linguistics: history of nations and people encoded in the languages they use

A longer list will soon be available in the personal stuff part of the site.

What else can you find in this site?

I've got really ambitious plans concerning this site. I hope to put here one day several nice problems in physics and maths I had opportunity to get through as well as essays about science, life, music, literature, modern society and whatever not... Well, one day... So far you can see some links, a bit about my scientific work and teaching.
